Kate & Sam, Kitley House

Well hello Luna lovers! Its been a little while; since we came together in 2008 to create Luna its all been a bit crazy, Luna fever took over and we were out and about all over the country shooting and editing without the time to keep up with blogging, we love what we do and it seems that you do too! However, it seems the blogging trend isn't going to go away so we had better give it another try starting with Sam and Kates bright, beautiful and emotional wedding in the tranquil surroundings at the lovely Kitley House Hotel on 8th April.

We were pretty honoured that Sam tracked Mark down having been impressed with his work when they worked on a project together some ten years ago(Sam is a designer), so when we met up with Sam and his lovely fiancee Kate, there was a lot to catch up on and it was flattering to hear their thoughts on our work, we work so hard and we are never complacent about what we do so every time we receive such positive feedback we glow with pride knowing we are achieving what we set out to do; as if our heads weren't getting big enough, Kates cousin Andrew has also booked us for his wedding at the end of May and we had a lovely chat with him and his fiancee Lucy who complimented us further, telling us that prior to speaking to Sam and Kate they had a shortlist of photographers, all of whom we 'blew out of the water' - praise indeed!! (they also told us to put up our prices so look out!)

Sam and Kate had a glorious day with wall-to-wall sunshine and plenty of emotion for us to document, we knew this couple would do everything a little bit differently and with the high-five at the usual kissing moment, and Kates stunning brightly coloured flowers and trainers instead of Rainbow or Jimmy Choo shoes, they didn't disappoint. Thanks for tracking us down guys and we are delighted that you love your photos so much, see you at the end of the month for Andrew & Lucy's wedding at Priston Mill!

Helen & Mike

Despite the cold wet windy Cornish weather Helen & Mike and their Daughter Lucy still enjoyed a wonderful wedding day at Colan Barton near Newqauy.
Highlights for Luna include Mark scaling the 13th century tower at Colan Church to photograph the 120 guests and a cold visit to Fistral beach for the couple with Mark & Anna.
Our good friend and photographer Chloe Hill also came along to shoot some traditional black and white neg film at the couples request and also did some 8mm cine filming for Mike & Helen as well!
Thanks for choosing Luna without meeting us from your home in Canada, and I am sure you will be over the moon with the results!
